My WIFI goes in and out on my XP laptop.

I have an Acer Aspire 3100 and I am having a problem with the WIFI connecting. I can connect to the WIFI but it reconnects and goes off and it does it quite often like every 5 minutes. I am connected to my Verizon Fios router and it works fine when I connect my iPhone and iPad and the other laptops in the house. This problem doesn't happen to anything or anybody else in my house. Is this a common problem or is it not as popular problem. What can I do to fix this problem? Please help me because the problem is very annoying and I want it to be fixed because I use the internet every single day and it really messes me up.

What drivers do you think I have to update? I recently updated to XP SP3 and that is the current update I have. What drivers do you think I have to update?

Update the drivers of your wireless card. Either go to the manufacturers website to see if there is a driver update or try the device manager.

First, do the wifi. Then if you find something funky, update those drivers
