For me the antivirus software is quite annoying i keep prompt out viruses when involve with some games installation lols.. |

I would keep a antivirus software for security. In your situations, it could be the program that was set to look for virus like actavity, known as the Hueristractics. It could be set to be too hard |

It's a big mistake to remove your antivirus. If you don't really like antiviruses, go find a program that can monitor all sectors of your PC. Such as the Memory, System Files, registry, etc. |

I would never prefer a PC without antivirus, EVER! Nowadays surfing the Internet without any security is asking for trouble, especially with so many virus's/malware out there. I would much prefer it to be prompting me more than usual just to be sure my system is kept secure. Having said that it can be quite annoying but that's still not reason to disable it. You can configure these options in the settings menu of the software. |

Considering I already use my PC without antivirus... yeah (LINUX FTW). I tend to pay attention to what I run anyway, being one of the few people NOT annoyed with the OS asking me permission to run things. |

No. Anti-virus & anti-malware software is a necessity nowadays. Some malicious software is hard to distinguish from good software even by a knowledgeable computer user. |
|
Seeing as how a Mac is by definition a PC and based on how fast THEY run (partly from not needing AV to run), if Windows was more secure to the point where you didn't need it, yeah. I would prefer one without antivirus software. |
|
Nope, I am fine running anti virus and anti malware software. |
