Everyone is anticipating the release of USB 3.0 now. Question is: will you get it right away, or will you wait until it is supported by all devices first? |

I won't be getting it right away, I'm going to be waiting until it supports a wide range of devices that I use, it would be a lot more convenient for me than getting something that none of my hardware supports. |

I think it's a really smart thing to do. USB 3.0 is a huge upgrade ;) |

usb 3.0 will be standard someday so everyone has to upgrade at some point, and if not 3.0 than 4.0 or what ever comes after 3. |

With technologies like light peak I am not sure because I believe light peak is faster than usb 3.0 |

maybe, im not sure. I seem to be ok on USB2 but being on USB3 may meen i use the HDD or HD Camera more often. |

just like the Blu Ray drives, i havent bought one yet, and will wait untill they are as very cheap, personally dont have any use for a faster USB drive, about the only thing i use on USB is a hard drive, which i'm not to bothered about transfer speeds, and my keyboard/mouse which dont need a huge bandwidth, even when i transfer video (streamed from a camera) or pictures off a camera/memory stick/chip i never felt that it was too slow, i dont think i'll be switching over, unless it's integrated in the next motherboard i buy or i'm given it free. |

When it's in a new PC I buy I will.... but not until then.
