Are you excited for Duke Nukem Forever? Do you plan on buying it and then enjoying it? Have you played Duke Nukem 3d? If you do plan on getting it what are you getting it for Xbox 360, PS3, or PC? What are your thoughts on it taking 13 years to release?

I am very excited I have been waiting for years for it and have played DN3d many many times and am a huge fan of the series and plan on getting it on the 14th. I plan on getting the PC version because I much prefer PC gaming over console gaming.

  1. Absolutely.
  2. More than likely not going to buy it, but I will enjoy it.
  3. Yes, I have.
  4. Getting it and buying it are two different things so I can answer this with: PC
  5. They haven't been working on it for 13 years. I'm sure they had their reasons for putting it off. (My theory is that people will nostalgia and buy the new based on that.)

Also, brofist on the PC gaming.

Well I know they haven't been working on it for 13 years but its been in development and they started on it back then and just recently they picked it back up just saying.

I remember play the original DOS game of it. I think the new one will be good since it took this long in order to get it back up and running and get through the development for it. Its like some other games that took a long time to get off the ground. Like Tron 2.0 as an example. Took Disney long enough to get it out in 2003.

Honestly, no. Duke Nukem is past its prime. It was fun 15 years ago, because people weren't desensitized to obscene video games. Now, with games like Grand Theft Auto, Saints Row, Call of Duty, etc, it isn't that different. And with the huge amount of other amazing games coming out this year, I don't think Duke Nukem stands out.
