iMac USB expansion

I recently bought a 27" iMac. It's beautiful, but as it stands next to a wall, it's tricky to reach the usb ports. For now I use some USB cables to bring the ports to the front. My question is: Is there any type of hardware that does the job that doesn't looking like crap? And please don't say "USB-hub" as I'm not searching for a hub. I just want the existing ports in front rather than in back. initialism

Gut the iMac, transfer everything but the screen into an ATX case, install as many 2.5/3.5in USB inserts as you can into the ATX case, use iMac as a screen. Shouldn't look like crap, either...

I don't see how that's going to be EASY.... That and it voids the warranty and there's a good chance of damaging stuff.
