I have to side with nVidia. They have strong ties to Intel, since AMD acquired ATI. I also prefer Intel CPUs, so it only makes sense to go with nVidia. I feel like nVidia does a better job with their drivers, also.

I like ATI. I have no problem with them. Although I have heard both good and bad things about Nvidia, I have never tried them.

I have a few ATI cards in my older computers, but my newer ones ( 2006+ ) are Nvidia. I don't choose based on brand, I pick a card that I see as best fit for me and is compatible with my computer. I've had good success and failures with both brands.

You have a 1500 in your SERVER? I used to have a 1150 in my Vista-running LAPTOP! You have no idea how lucky you are to have that power in your server! LOL!

I currently run an nvidia 8800gtx which i am very happy with it was very expensive in 2007 and it still plays all the modern titles, I think it doesntmatter what brand you buy as long as you buy quality as the more you spend the longer it will (generally) last.

As with most things you get what u pay for :-)

Although I generally support ATI, I have an Nvidia 8400GS, because I got it for $30 US. And if I had more money, I'd probably go for dual GeForce FTX 460s, for PhysX.
