"The only real wisdom is in knowing you know nothing." --Socrates |

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you want to fit in, don't be cocky. You may honestly know more about certain topics than your peers, but that doesn't mean you have to correct them every time. I guess what I am trying to say is if you truly are gifted and talented as you say, be proud of that fact but do not boast. Remember to be humble and learn humility. That can not be taught from a book. If you really want to fit in, just be yourself and don't think about your intelligence as a burden. Then again, what do I know. lol |
Intelligence could be more brilliant within modesty. Toba Beta |

"People in their right mind never take pride in their talents." I don't agree entirely with the quote, but swap out 'take pride in' for 'boast about' and I think it fits perfectly. Nobody likes being constantly corrected or having intelligence rubbed in their face. |

I think intelligence can't be truly defined when you think about it. People are good at a multitude of things with respect to the individual, plus what is it that determines an intelligent action and makes the outcome of that action intelligent? |
