I don't. I wouldn't pay the FCC a dime out of my wallet for that license so they can limit my freedom of speech. I can communicate with much more people on the internet for free without any license(at least now I can but a certain president is trying to change that).

is there even a point to the fcc ham radio license?

Sir you cant use that ham radio until you prove to us that you know how to talk by paying us a a ton of money + an arm and a leg.

Or with a car drivers license

This mans drivers license expired! he must have forgotten how to drive since he was unable to pay us the $300 renewal fee, lets put him in a cage.

Anyway why cant you use the ham radio without a license?
