I prefer AVI as an example with Any Video Converter. You can download it from CNET or just Google it.
'''Step 1''' : '''Add ISO image file''' to the program.
Click '''Add Video''' button or go to menu '''File > Add Video Files''', you shall select "Files of type" and change to '''"All Files (.)"''' (This step is extremely important!!) and then you will be able to select ISO image files from your hard drive. Press Ctrl or Shift to select more than one image file at one time in file folder.
After you add ISO image files, all of them will be displayed on the middle panel with their detailed information, including duration, format and size, etc.

you would have to either mount the iso as a virtual drive or use an archive program to access the vob files. From there google dvd to avi and find one there are hundreds of them to chose from and aslong as its not a copyrighted disc most work very well. They also all have settings for quality size etc. personally i normally use dvdfab but again its just preference

First, mount the ISO in a virtual drive. Then, use Rip DVD Plus - super easy to use and makes great quality output with the default settings: http://www.deskshare.com/dvd-ripping-software.aspx
