Any idea why it's doing this? I right-click the desktop, click "personalize" and then I click "Mouse Pointers" and it gives me an error saying "Unable to connect to Synaptics Pointing Device Driver" and I click, "OK" and it tells me "windows host process (Rundll32) has stopped working." Any idea on how I fix this? Or is there another way to get to change my mouse?

I'm on Windows Vista Home Basic by the way.

Have you tried re-booting your computer?

No cause my computer is mean to me about restarting. >< But I just wanted to see if it was something I should be at all worried about.

oh this happened on my wife's laptop. I had to remove drivers, reboot and reinstall and it resolved the issue
