I am looking into buying a new laptop. But I am not sure an extra $150 will be worth it. I'm looking into buying the HP Pavillion dv6t Quad Edition. Also it is a 15.6". Not really looking into a 17.3". I will be doing some video and photo editing with some gaming as well.

If you will be doing photo and video editing, I think you should spend $150 more because it's worth the price. Anyways, when future games or software come out, they might require a Full-HD display.

An extra 150 seems quite a bit, do you have a full HD tv that can be hooked up?

Yeah and I think it will save me in the long run for the next couple of years with the specs it has as well with Full HD. And I do have an Full HDTV I can hook it up to.

Then why not save a bit of money and just use the TV as a second monitor?

Well I could do that. So when I use a second monitor, that screen resolution will be 1980x1080 and the laptop will be at 1366X768? Cause I also seen a package with blu ray and was thinking about that ?
