So, I'll be enlisting into the army soon and I'll be needing a new phone since the military here has strict rules about multimedia devices. Originally, I wanted to get a first gen iPad since that's the closest to what I need but recently they have banned devices with screen with more 5 inches in diagonal length. The requirements:
Thanks in advance. |

This may be worth keeping an eye on http://tiny.cc/84v4w. I couldn't really find much else for android devices Only other thing I can think of is that Blackberries tend to ship in 2 models, 1 with a camera and 1 without. Edit: If you were considering an iPad why not get an older generation iPod and install the viber app (or any similar app)? This free app allows you to use you current phone number and make calls over wifi, even if you don't actually have your phone with you and, best of all, doesn't require jailbreaking - its completely legal :) I already have a 2nd gen iPod, but the headphone jack is semi broken. :( sell it and get a newer 1 on amazon or eBay or something? |

A dell streak would almost be perfect! Proprietary connection, internal memory, android, screen isn't larger than 5 inches, wifi and 3g. But the only problem is it has a camera. If you can remove the cameras from the front and the back of the phone you might just be able to get it through |

This doesn't exactly fit what you want but the only phone I can find without a camera is the BlackBerry Bold 9650 ( http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?item=phoneFirst&action=viewPhoneDetail&selectedPhoneId=5609&deviceCategoryId=1 ).
The only other thing I can think of that would be better would be getting a 3rd generation iPod Touch and using that. Because that meets everything except the OS requirement. Everything is fine, except for the microUSB. But before I give up and buy another iPod, is there any Android device that's close to an iPod touch that isn't a tablet? 1
I will look but I think you will be hard pressed to find one that is less than 5" that meets these. Thanks man. Well, even if it doesn't work out, I'll just have to fall back on that iPod plan. :\ |

Uhh...can someone help me edit this to make it easier to read, I can't seem to do it myself. O.O
Thanks man.
