How to open .exe files in snow leopard???
I did a search on this site first and received zero results.
What is the best way to do this?

To run .exe programs in any operating system such as Mac OS X or Linux you use Wine.
You can download the Mac OS X version here: http://wiki.winehq.org/MacOSX
Wine will not run every program and even if it can run it the program may not function correctly. The best way would be to use Bootcamp and install windows on your Mac or use a Virtual Machine with Windows running in it.

correct me if im wrong but to my knowledge, a .exe file is a Windows application file, like a .dmg for a mac. so i dont think you can open a .exe file on a mac, unless you can open it in a windows virtual machine inside of snow leopard, then somehow convert it to a .dmg file. hope that helps

been said a million times, but use either bootcamp to run it on Windows, VirtualBox, VMWare Fusion, Parallels desktop or other virtualisation software to run Windows within OSX, or use Wine. Wine can work, but is by no means perfect.
What hasnt been said is the best version of Wine for Mac (IMO) is called "Winebottler" (google it). It gives you a Mac OS X GUI so you don't have to run it from the command line. It also provides the Winebottler app which sometimes works - it allows you to install something into a native OSX App which runs wine when opened.
