My grandparents use a Windows 7 computer and occasionally mess something up or forget how to check their email (they are over 90), instead of frequently going over just to fix a simple problem, I was thinking it would be easier to control their computer remotely. Unfortunately, I only have a Mac with Snow Leopard on it at the moment, so my question is: What's a good (preferably free or cheap) program that can help me remotely control a Windows 7 computer over the internet with my Snow Leopard Mac? Thanks

I recommend you use TeamViewer it works on Windows, Mac, Linux and iOS devices. I use it on aall my computers and never had a problem.

I also use Teamviewer. I'd recommend it.

Simple way: Get temaviewer. Just install and log in

Hard: Run a RDP or VNC to the windows box. Install a VNC client/Set up Windows RDP and add a password to it. Set as startup upon boot. Set port forwarding. Be sure they have a static IP. Connect to the ip and port set. Done, though this is a simplified version of a hard way

If you are going to be inside the network, I prefer vnc/rdp/terminal services.

If you are outside the network, it is simpler to get something like teamviewer
