[Did a search first as always] Where do you listen to your music? I do have a couple portable music players, mostly have my phone on me. Rarely do I play music out of the house, I like to hear what is going on around me so if I am shopping for food, walking around I feel no need to be playing music that could distract me. So I find myself mostly playing music at home while doing other things on the computer or cleaning up etc... for that I would prefer it going though a speaker. |

Everyday I hear new album from jamendo and I have some interesting audios replies to my songs on soundcloud. Another thing, myspace (even if it is gonna dead - or not, whatever) is also a nice place to listen to music too and discover new artists. I use also youtube when I know the perfect title and/or band and sometimes I record 24 radios of every style I like (rock, pop, electro, soundtracks...) with streamripper for winamp for generally 5-10 days non-stop and then I got a thousand of new fresh songs which are nicely cut and ID3tag pre-formatted with all the informations I want (mutliple songs of 3Mb files, not just a 5Gb file). And the most amazing thing with this particular software is that all your 'radio ad' that you don't want to listen to, is suppressed automatically :) So you just have tons of new clean songs. That IS awesome. |

I just play it through iTunes when I get bored... I never want to be distracted from what's going on around me outside. I may eventually start listening when I do nature photography, but I listen offline at home. :) |

It depends, when I'm at the gym I have my phone with me so I use "Tune In" which is local radio, or MOG or Pandora if I'm in the mood for no commercial. Google music won't install so that's out ...and I'm waiting for Spoitify ;) |

When I want to listen to new songs, I always listen to Pandora. But if I want to hear some old tunes, I use iTunes on a computer or the Google Music app on Android. |

Because i'm a nice house m8 I play music from lastfm (google chrome extension too btw) when i'm at my computer via headphones (don't like ear plugs). It helps me concentrate when working by blocking out the world. I've sometimes been tempted to drop a bunch of tracks onto my phone and then play it on my bike, but I'd rather not end up another statistical splat on the road and half the enjoyment of being outside is hearing the outside especially once you get out of town and can hear the simple sounds of birds, wind, trees, animals in the fields and the rhythm of the road noise and the beating of your heart. Although I often switch on a track in my mind if i'm bored of all that. |
