My parents still use aol and all my mom's favorites are stuck in aol I would have to manually transport all her favorites over to google chrome. So here are my questions

How do i auto transfer the favorites If they stop paying for aol do we loose our aol accounts ,do we keep the accounts, or if we loose them can we sign up for free accounts( many things have been signed up for using the aol accounts and cannot afford to loose the accounts or change the accounts over to another email, or the email lists

If you want to use a different browser, just install it and let your parents use their crap.

It's currently not possible to transfer your favorites from AOL to Google directly. I am not too sure with AOL's functionality, but if you're able to export the favorites to an HTML file, then you'll be able to import them into Google Chrome's bookmarks manually. I've included a link below which describes importing and exporting bookmarks manually in Google Chrome.

Hope that helps!

Start by making the favorites to an HTML file: http://portalblog.aol.com/2011/10/24/exporting-your-aol-favorites/, then import it with instructions here: http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=96816
