Hi, looks like windows 7 in bootcamp has gone unbootable and startup repair won't fix it. I have to reinstall windows but am a little worried about it rejecting my product key because it was used for my last install. Obviously I can not access windows itself but I can access it's files from my mac. Before I go ahaed and restore my drive to one OS X partition and then start over is there something I should do to make sure windows accepts my license key when I reinstall?

Microsoft has a set number of times that same product key can be activated on the SAME machine. Not sure of the actual number, but this has been the case for many different versions of Windows.
When I had XP, I have one XP disc that I have installed on probably a total of 10 different machines, and some of them PLENTY more than "once", and MS got to the point where once they ceased support for XP, they also ceased any activation support, and in the last couple years, I have never had the "Product Key used too many times" issues.
This should work, AND, not be a worry, so long as you haven't tried re-installing 8,000 times.
