One thing I've noticed is that a Youtube Partner's Header gets completely removed. See for yourself - http://www.youtube.com/lockergnome

To disable it click go to http://www.youtube.com/cosmicpanda , Then there will be a section of text like this

"Thanks for giving it a try. You can get back to the older version at any time."

In that text, older version will be linked to the old (normal) Youtube layout

I love it! It takes the signature Youtube design you see everywhere and puts it into a theme.

Yeah! Totally agree, once downside is that you might have to design a new background for your Youtube channel if your on Youtube

well it is possible they might make this the permanent layout...but for now it is fine.

I have gotten Partnered since my last comment here.....I got an email a few weeks ago saying Youtube is going to make the layout the new layouts. It will slowly be rolled in.

It also added the feature of putting custom facebook and twitter links on your channel description(in an icon format). This is probably the best thing to happen to Youtube!

I like how you can easily change the video size and how you can see peoples profile pictures next to their comments but I don't really like the dark box around the video. I really don't like the channel layouts though but as with everything I guess it will grow on me, just like the new sub boxes and when they changed the channel layouts last time.

I get commenting errors. That is because they need to fix the captcha. Instead of captcha I get error. Other than that no errors for me.

I found some small imperfections, when video is in full window mode and there is a top info bar, the things fall behind in the video and the user profile scale of the top right is oberblown.

It's strange that the Lockergnome community is MUCH more open to change on YouTube than the people who aren't part of it... Anyway, I love the layout. My channel doesn't look as cluttered now, but I'll miss the transparent boxes. I'm going to need an ENTIRELY new background now...
