Hello Lockergnome Community!

I am thinking about doing a PC Repair Business over the summer for some extra money. I have already made flyers to pass out around my neighborhood and post in public places. I figured this would be a great idea because I am basically the go to person for all things related to technology in my family. I just have to decide on prices. What do you think would be a reasonable price for the services I have listed in the flyers? Links are below. Thanks!

You need to change the fonts on your flyer, I think they look horrible. I think you should go by the "less is more" quote, give short sharp descriptions of what you do - will be more effective. Otherwise good job.

I agree. The fonts are a bit much.

just looking around online, KnowHow (the computer repair part of the PCworld and Currys company in the UK) charge:

£15 for setting up peripherals like cameras or installing RAM
£20 for software installation
£30 data transfer
£40 for an OS upgrade
£40 Virus removal
£80 Data recovery

etc (you get the point!) plus the cost of the components/software is then added on top of that

You're going to people, rather than them coming to you, so you could probably stick another £5 on top of any price and it still be reasonable.

You can do the currency conversion to get the dollar prices :P
