Do you get annoyed by constantly asking you to log on to windows games live?

Do you get annoyed by constantly asking you to log on to windows games live? I hate when asking me to log on to windows game live to save my game progress and crappy achievements. WHy we cannot just save on our drives directly, sometime in some situation, there is no internet access , like in the RV cars when you go road trip with your family. MS Games live, sucks.
