Hey guys. Got a question here that is far from tech but I am thinking someone here might have a glimmer of help. I'm working on a fantasy horror script thats been through a few phases with me (poetry, stories, and finally i am settleing on film script). As much as I would love to see a big stufio put this one together for me I know that's impossible for a first time script so I am wondering what would be the best way to go about finding someone, either and agent or producer, who could help me get this script made into a film, even if it's just and independent company.

Before giving just your script try to use a cool software which will format easily your text into a movie script. You have to obey some rules when you do such things and the more effort you will make for your script to be clear, the more chance to improve to be lucky (chance to be lucky?) ... whatever, you did understand me?

But the thing is, I'm a soundtrack composer (horror, dark, ambient, rock) and I can help you for all your 'music' stuff. Now you just have to find someone to do the 'movie' stuff. =)

Nice. I'll definetly be in touch with you if I can get this off the ground.

As far as format goes by trade I'm an actor so I'm very familiar with scripts (just need to find jobs now that I am out of high school) so I started writing it in a program called Celtx that does all of my formatting.

For actually writing the script, I'd recommend Adobe Story, it has some cool features like descriptions of characters and such that might make it easier to actually do it like you want it to be :)

I've actually been writing in a program called Celtx which has the same feature (i assume) but it's 100% free. theres a studio feature you can pay for but that i don't need at this time.
