Would 10GB of bandwidth a month enough for 24/7 streaming (10GB will be dedicated to the stream)

What would the quality of the stream be? Also would it be audio and/or video?

The quality would be low. and there would be Video and audio. Im planning on streaming at around 15-20 FPS

You're going to want to get unlimited, 10GB may cut it, but with browsing as well, 40GB won't.

1GB a day works for light browsing, but you'll want access to youtube and facebook to, and if you chose to watch a tv show online, then you're stuffed really.

Also, the ISP doesn't tell you when you hit your allowance, so you won't know until the end of the month if you've gone over, and chances are, you will, and you will be hit with a huge bill, which has to be payed.

Unlimited is probably your best bet.

There's really no such thing as unlimited, it's all advertising. They say unlimited, but it's not. The internet provider has hidden rules that say the exact amount of bandwidth you truly have, and it only affects a small percentage of customers. It's only there so that users don't try to resell or take advantage of the "unlimited" offering.

Think of it as an all-you-can-eat buffet where they kick you out after your sixth or seventh plateful. They don't really expect anyone to eat that much.

It depends whether that is all you will be using the net for.
If you're going to be also using it for everyday internet stuff then not a chance.
Otherwise it should be fine.

In all I would have a 40GB cap every month, that means I can use roughly 1GB a day + 10GB extra for the stream

I'd have to go with the majority and say that you should get unlimited. I have it, and it's so much better than having a limit. At least then you don't have to worry about going over your allowed bandwidth

I find it hard on 60GB between 8am and midnight with my provider.

And I do a lot of streaming but only during the night because of it.

10GB is no good and is only there for people whoo just go on FaceBook and email.
