Have you ever learnt binary?

Are you one of the people that just know binary as a series of 1's and 0's ?

Well, it does prove that he can type [0..31] in binary. It doesn't prove that he knows about ASCII representations of characters in binary (which seems slightly off-topic), or that he can multiply and divide binary numbers in his head. The basic understanding seems to be there, though.

Ok, explenation:

Normally we count in Decimal: 0, 1, 2, 3, ..., 9

Now in Binary there are only 2 numbers to use instead of 10. So heres some binary:

0

1

10 (now we can't count any further since there is no 3 or a 4 in binary, so we go to 10

11

100 (And again here, there isn't a 12 so we go to 100)

101

110

111 (So now, guess what the next number is!)

I can sort of understand binary...I only know how it read it a bit though...I know all the numbers...up to ...i dunno...I had to study it during seventh and sixth grade.

If you would not understand, or just don't care to figure out I've said: "I do know binary, as well as hex language. But I have caught myself on using a binary translator to read all entries above."

When you learn it, it feels weird. I now have a binary language watch. After some time using it, I now don't even have to think about it anymore. It's fun to try!
