What's a good midrange PC graphics card for a decent price?

I need one just so I can play Minecraft and a few other games, because my computer's built-in graphics card is rubbish. Preferably under £100 (about $160) and it doesn't have to be amazing, just reasonably good. I'm not an avid gamer or anything.

If that were my budget I'd go for GTS450. If you don't want to go down the nVidia path the XFX HD6770 is a great card for the money.

Not a big nVidia fan, I had a laptop with a built-in Nvidia card and it basically fried itself after a year. apparently every other owner of that model laptop had the same problem :/

Go for the ATI card mate. It's a great card for the money.

I really like the Sapphire HD 5770 video card I am able to run all of the newest games with maxed out graphics with it and you cannot even hear it run plus it stays super cool I am a satisfied customer with this video card you just have to make sure you have at least a 550 watt PSU I believe and its a thick card so it takes up 2 slots in the case but other than that its worked like a dream for me.
