Review/Do things that you find interesting. Be Prepared. If you plan on doing any Screencasts get the right software. Remember subscribers will not show up over night. You have to be dedicated.

Quality over Quantity. I don't care if you make 100+ videos if they are all garbage.

Have fun with it. Don't get mad at the trolls. AND PLEASE know what you're doing and/or talking about. Youtube is full of people that have absolutely no clue as to what they're talking about.
