Does Apple need to come out with an iPhone 5?

Why does Apple need to come out with an iPhone 5? The camera on the iPhone 4 is already stunning and I don't see a need to have a new iPhone. We got all the features we wanted in the release of the iPhone 4 I just don't know what we want as NEWER features in an iPhone 5. Comment below on what you think Apple should do if they release a new iPhone in the coming months?

Need? no. But they are behind on quite a few things. They could add fingerprint scanners, NFC (Near field communication) for payment, a usable front facing camera, 4G, and a kickstand

Don't buy anything with a fingerprint scanner! The corporations are going to use these to let police shut down your phone if they detect your on one of DHS's list which currently are estimated to have at least 3 million people and that's the no-fly list alone. You can be added to these lists for having a similar sounding name to a person already on it or even for being muslim or arabic and especially if your suspected to be in a "fringe" political movement which they often deem as a mainstream tea partier. Keep your old s**t!

Well Apple wants to make money number 1. But even more so, as a consumer, do you feel better buying a year old phone, or a phone with all of the newest, cutting-edge technology that you can fit into its body? Not only does another iteration of the iPhone help Apple keep up with the competition, but it also gives the consumers the assurance that they are getting the latest and greatest tech from Apple.

Dude. It's Apple.

Apple usually comes out with a new line of devices for each other their series every year. They originally had the release date for the iPhone 5 to be like 1-2 months ago. But since they just released the iPhone 4 on Verizon, they weren't going to immediately create a new line when a lot of Verizon customers just bought what they though was the top of the line.

Furthermore, Apple needs to come out with newer stuff to stay on top of the cell phone competition. The battle from, "what is the best tablet and cell phone" is growing to be more intense than the battles between MAC and Windows PCs.
