Creating Balance

As a "geek" I like to spend a lot of time on the computer geeking out. Have not been able to do that much now since I have an extremely non geeky girlfriend of three years whom I love greatly! Has anyone been in a similar situation. How have you found balance?

I find so much wrong with this question

If she fails to understand you as some one who is indeed a geek and enjoys his time on the computer, perhaps she is not for you
If you would rather spend time on the computer then with her, what the hell is wrong with you?
If a balance is hard to find that makes YOU happy, then perhaps there cannot be a balance... you cant always find a compromise.
I think a balance should work its self out if there is one.
