Hello everyone. I just wanted to know how to install motherboard drivers because I got a new motherboard and it says that I have to install the driver, but how do I do that? Do I logon to Windows and install them from there? Or do I have to go into safe mode or something like that? And what would happen if I didn't install the drivers?

Thanks.

You go to your boards manufacture website and download the drivers from there.

you have to install them in windows, once you log in you should be able to install them, but you might have problems with conflicts from the old drivers.

usually with a significant hardware change you would have to do a reinstall, then install the drivers. and on another note, if your licence is OEM you might find it is no longer valid because of the motherboard change which is considered a significant hardware change. you would have to call microsoft to get the licence reactivated or you might have to buy a new licence.
