Ok so. I like to smell electronics :P Don't judge me... I'm sure some of you have done it... So when I first got my iPod I smelt the sync cable port and it smelt fruity. Maybe not real fruit but at the least like artificial fruit flavoured snacks. Is it just me?

I'm laughing my head off right now, but I do it too. I LOVE that new electronics smell. Or even, that used electronics smell.

It smells fruity because it's made by Apple.

Heh. The moment I saw the thread title, I thought to myself, "if someone doesn't make that joke, I will."

So good on you!

OMG!! You have no idea!! That happened to me too!! It smelled a little fruity at my charging port on my iPhone.... I was so curious that I even put my mouth on the charging port and started sucking a little bit... and the air inside tastes just like bananas!!

And I smoke around my phone all the time... It still smells/tastes like fruit.

Um... I'm guilty of smelling them to see if they smell like cigarettes like most of them do. But. Maybe it's just that your iPod likes you?

Hahaha! I've had 2 brand new iPods(had to get it exchanged)since February. They both smelt fruity, they don't smell the same. But none the less fruity. Guess it's just luck :)

My question is, if it smells like fruit, why doesn't it smell like Apples?

It actually wouldn't really surprise me if Apple made their electronics smell like Apples. It would be weird, but it wouldn't really surprise me lol.
