I have to say one of the more annoying things with software is having to constantly update them. The App Store does make this easier, however I am getting updates for apps which aren't installed and apps which I haven't brought with my Apple Account.

Somehow my Mac App Store shows that their is an update for Angry Birds, however when I try and update it, it asks for an account which I haven't seen before. Is there a way I can delete the record of the update? As you can see in the screen shot the update for Angry Birds wants a random Apple ID. Even when I am not signed into my Apple ID I get notified about it.

Help Anyone?

To everybody having this problem, it's because you have an downloaded copy of Final Cut X on your system.

Tx Alex. I removed FCPX from my mac, restarted and problem was resolved. No more disturbing Angry birds updates anymore

I have this problem to. Do you pirate Mac store apps?

I would like to get rid of this stupid update to. I even tired buying the app with my account but it gives me an error. I also called Apple and they said uninstall the app. Well I don't even have it so.

-removed, violates TOS- watch the video above from from 3:33 so just redownload your cracked "angry birds", do what is shown on the vid and delete it, when it shows no updates

Alex Melton is correct. FCP X is the problem.

I really like the idea of the mac app store but in general it has too many bugs in it.
