Would you? I am. This mouse that I'm using has a broken scroll wheel and it's driving me MAD! So, assuming that your mouse is the ONLY MOUSE that will EVER work with your computer, and it's scrollwheel stops working, would you go crazy?? Or do you still use a mouse without a scrollwheel? Mighty and Magic mice excluded |

Nope! I have a Magic Mouse, so I don't have any scroll wheels! :P |

actually, that happened to me on my laptop prior to selling it, the scroll wheel thing just stopped working after a while and it really annoyed me, not even plugging in an external mouse, or reinstalling the drivers/complete windows restore fixed it. i have a nicely working desktop though, so its been fun finally having a working scroll wheel. that is weird. Hopefully the buyer could cope with that :) actually i didn't sell it on ebay, i traded it in to best buy. i think i paid like 750 for it initially, and got like 380 back, and for a laptop that was a little over 2 years old, that really isn't bad at all. that's really not that bad haha. Kinda like how I bought a 3 year old iMac 24" for $40, only the effect was reversed a bit but yeah still :) woah that's nuts, ill give you 50 for it :) haha my friend told me about some guy at an auto aution that got a brand new 2012 camaro for like 5.62 cause nobody else wanted it. also there was a guy in texas that won a 300k+ house for 16 dollars, true story http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XOdl2WaOZE haha wow nice :) Sorry but you can't have it haha :) I got it that cheap because it has a problem which you can see here. So yeah that's why I got it so cheap :) well, HTML sorta works. Here's the link in working form: http://lockergnome.net/questions/147808/2008-24-imac-problem-video-footage-included

My current mouse is the first one i've used that has a scroll wheel and now i'd never go back to not having one. If I lost my scroll wheel, i'd go insane for months. Weird enough though, my scroll wheel doesn't scroll very well, I just press it to use the manual 4-directional scrolling. |

i can see the headlines now "Woman Claims She Shot All The Lockergnome Staff Because Her Mouse Wheel Died" |

Well, i'm using a laptop and I hate the "scroll wheel" equivalent on the trackpad. In fact I go out of my way to disable it. So I can't say I'd go insane if it broke. |

In Lion yes but in Mac OS X 10.6.8 and under or windows I would make out fine but it would take longer to get down a page. |

Would I go mad if mine went south for the winter on my mouse. Not really. I would just pick up another one from my distributor over here. May be a couple of them to make sure that I have several spare over here. |

i had to vote this down for the massive amount of pointless tags
