How do you make your user profile an administrator, when you do not have access to the only administrator account? I never will have access to the admin account in my own situation. Don't guess and dont ask me, It's not happening. I completely cocked it up. Now im stuck. I cant back up a lot of my files because I have them locked to the admin account. I dont want to reformat because, not only will I loose a lot of my files, but I dont have the admin privilages to do so anyway. I can't reset my password either. I want to simply make this account an administrator so then I can remove my main users password, back up files sort things out then reformat my drive like I've been wanting to for ages. |

If your Default Admin account doesn't have an password you can acess cmd by task manager click file>new task and put this |

Try this too , Put your windows 7 cd in , boot it and at the bottom when you have to select Install click on repair computer, and go to System restore , and you probably find a recovery from a day that you had full acess click on that one and repair (ps: you don't lost any files) Image:
Dont have the windows 7 cd. It was one of my brother's spares. Now he has it and does not know where it is. I think that is out of the question now. i don't think you have any more options. if you can't run programms without the admin access , you cant get a recovery password program(whatever most of them don't work) I was thinking getting one of those programs you burn onto a CD then boot from the CD and load it, then use it to reset or remove the admin password or something. that will ask Admin premission. Im fucked then? I saw some ways to do it with linux, go google it. oi hate to say it but turn to utorrent its technically leagal in this case 1
utorrent has always been legal... Just what people use utorrent for is illegal... That's why he said it was illegal in this case.

I have used this product here http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/ It is a linux boot disk that will simply reset a password to null or enable user accounts. |
