what combination of these would you go for and why? i would stick with ATI and AMD, because i have never owned a nvidia graphics card and AMD are part of the same company, so... |

My last graphics card was a 6600 ASUS and ive overclocked it and used it in fallout 3. It lasted me 6 years. Only recently I got a 5770 and im finding it great. I have had a pentium 4 (Great for overclocking). I also had a few celerons which were also great for overclocking. I also have a couple of amd's aswell including a sempron athlon x2 and an athlon II x4. Right now ati has some pretty powerful graphics cards. But ive always been concerned about their drivers, so far however ive had no problems. Nvidia is having driver problems though from what I hear and is a possibly a reason for the lower than expected benchmarks on the latest dx11 series. The nvidia drivers need to mature before taking benchmarks seriously though. |

intel + nvidia should get a more stable build then amd + ati... if you just want to surf the web just go for amd but for gaming go with intel |

I have only used Intel and nVidia so far because that is what you get in a Mac computer but I have to say that it works perfect. The performance is outstanding and it's power nearly seems endless. Intel Core 2 duo + nVidia Geforce 9400 But I am more than willing to give AMD and ATI a try. |

Only look at benchmark test if comparing the stated companys, there specs don't do them justice seeing as they both utilize the specs differently. Second of all it all boils down to opinion, choice, and this. If you want to be price effective you go with AMD and ATI hands down, if you want huge powerhouses that are commonly a little ahead of ATI and AMD (Not current case with ATI VS Nvidia) you go with Intel and ATI. |

Intel and Nvidia baby. Intel and Nvidia have quality and long lasting products. ATI Catalyst drivers suck and AMD is underpowered. ATI and AMD tend to have products that are not as stable or as reliable as you would want them to be. |

How about ATI + nVidia?
