Windows Live Can't Send Message's Offline

I use Windows Live Messenger for Facebook chat. I love it, except when my contact is offline. Is there some work around, or add-on that can help, any suggestions would be appreciated.

@Cateye Productions: Actually, messages and workaround are correct. Message's indicates possession, and work around has a different meaning. ;)

If someone is not available you won't be able to talk to them. I am not sure that I understand your question completely.

i want to send on offline message to my contact, my friend has bas internet so its constantly signing in and out like 3 times a minute which isnt a bother except when i'm in a middle of typing a message and it windows msgr says your contact is offline bl bla bla you cant send a message so i'm in the middle of typing and i have to start over and on face book you can use th msgr to send offline messages that's why i'm suprisedd that microsoft hasnt fixed that to conform to facebook better
