In the world of technology, do you think that the internet or Google is making us stupid by just simply looking up information on the internet rather than in a book?

Of course not. Even official sources can be inaccurate or even outright wrong. I never rely upon one information source exclusively.
I cross reference sources of info to ensure I’m getting as factual info as reasonably possible.
I’ve learned a lot via Google & the Internet in general.
Plus, Some sources of info found online aren’t tainted by bias.

Stupid, no, but maybe ignorant in some ways, such as ignorant to the fact that tons of research is often done on topics, and by simply googleing we may adapt a flippant attitude towards discovering new information, and also we are not always considering the accuracy of the topic, such as if we were reading an encyclopedia, it would be undoubtedly right, but some guy on a blog may not always be checking his sources (if he even has any).

I don't believe the actual site "Google" is making us "stupid". I'm not sure that anything on the internet can make us "stupid." I do believe, however, that things on the internet can be false. You don't always want to trust everything you read on the internet. It could have an effect on us that makes us less "knowledgeable" but certainly not "stupid."
My main point is, you need to be careful with what you read and believe on the internet. Not everything is true and a lot of things don't have facts that back up what the article is trying to say.
