Say you buy a .com or .me from a domain name registrar for $10. When you renew each year, can they charge you whatever they want? Or is there like a fixed percentage increase? I'm looking into buying a domain and I just want to make sure they won't be charging me double or even triple when I renew the domain.

Just go with a known company like GoDaddy or 123-reg.co.uk

Don't go with someone like Freeola as they will charge £10 for your first year and £90 for the second.

I love NameCheap, nice site and no stupid ads wanting to sell you more.
