Situation: I deleted the Google account linked to my YouTube account with over 2,130 subs. That account was perminantly linked to this Google account. Now there is no password that works to get onto my YouTube account. I have submitted a couple recovery tickets to try and recover the deleted Google account. Neither worked and each included as much information as I can remember. I have other information they don't let you put in though that may help them believe it is my account. Such as the birthdate the account was registered with. I have information only that can be known to someone who's seen the settings and account pages of my YouTube account. Of course, when reclaiming a Google account, they do not let you add in this extra kind of information. Question: How do I send a support ticket to Google to add in this extra information that may help me recover my YouTube channel and this Google account? |

I'm assuming you've used this form: http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bin/request.py?contact_type=reopenaccount You might also try the "Forgot Username" tool. http://www.youtube.com/forgot_username Its my Google account LINKED to my YouTube account that I deleted. My YouTube acc is fine. Which one worked? Or did you find another way? Worked temporarely. Now EVIDENTLY it is linked to an email, which I cant sign in with that email which it is linked it. It makes no sense. Well, crap. It's too bad there's not a way to easily contact YouTube/Google for additional support once their automated methods fail. Good luck, dude. Im fucked then.

How did this get 3,800 views and no answers?
