I am unable to access http://www.youtube.com/cosmicpanda on Safari 5.1 under OS X Lion. Any ideas? Thanks.

Well then Google / YouTube has some browser perception issues, but this is quoted from the page "Keep watching when moving between videos, playlists, and channels (Chrome only)"

It works fine on Mozilla Firefox. However, there are certain things that you can only do Google Chrome, such as the video that keeps playing when you exit the page.

Okay, well then maybe Safari has some issues. Just try Chrome, It is a pretty awesome browser.

I know I am probably one of the few, but I prefer Safari over Chrome. In addition I'll probably just wait until Chrome is fully optimized for Lion. Thanks for the feedback though! Huge help.

It should work in every browser, whether it be Google Chrome, Firefox, or IE9.

The whole "Keep watching when moving between videos" feature works completely fine on Safari 5.1 on Lion for me. I was pretty shocked when I accidentally clicked on the channel page to find out that it works.

I don't know why Safari isn't working for you, but I believe you are able to re-download it. That should fix your problems.

I wiped my hard drive when I installed Lion and since all of the cookies were gone the next time I went to visit the page it was disabled in a way that I couldn't click on the "Try it Out" button.

Is it possible to reinstall Safari? I really don't see why the site wouldn't work.

In your opinion, would resetting Safari accomplish the same thing that you are thinking of?

(Aug 03 '11 at 00:29) ThatMacGuy ThatMacGuy's gravatar image

Possibly. That's the only thing that I can think of. It should work on every browser so its weird that it doesn't for you.

(Aug 03 '11 at 00:39) JordanV JordanV's gravatar image

Tried that and it didn't work. I guess it is a Chrome only feature.

I use it on Firefox. Maybe its just isn't supported yet.
