i have a computer tower that uses a top mount for power supply. however, i found a really good deal on a 400w supply that has a big FAN on the top of it (because its for bottom mount) Can i just flip it over and skrew it in like that? will everything be alright and working properly? Or do the bottom mounted power supplys have different style skrew places or something like that will happen? |

The PSU don't care what way it's turning, I'm more worried about the screws. You say the PSU has a big fan on the top side, I've never seen that, if there's any fan it should be on the bottom side. Cases with bottom mounted PSUs have holes for airflow. You can mount any PSU you want there, but if you flip it the screws won't match. Check again if the fan is not at the bottom and if it is, just flip it and shoehorn it into place somehow. |

Yes this should be fine. Theres nothing on a power supply that relies on gravity. |
