I run Ubuntu 11.04 on my laptop and when I leave my laptop I put it on suspend. For whatever reason, my laptop sometimes doesn't want to wake up after I do this. All the lights turn back on except for my screen. I would say a bad driver or I'm missing a driver but it only does this maybe 1 out of the 10 times I suspend my laptop. I know its a minor error but it forces me to force shut off my computer when it happens and its a nuisance when it does happen. I was wondering if anybody knew what was up with my laptop or maybe Ubuntu. Thanks!

Just don't suspend with Ubuntu, and you'll be fine. The driver that comes with Linux has very poor support on the vast majority of computers, so suspending rarely works properly.

Well it also automatically happens. So I can't just not do it. I can stop manually putting it there I guess.
