Best Way to Manage and Convert AVCHD (.MTS) Video on a Mac?

Simple question: what is the best app for converting AVCHD video to other formats like .MOV. I don't mind paying a little bit for functionality. Also, I don't want some rinky-dink app that only has presets like "iPod", and "Apple TV". I want one with real power and customization. Has to be a mac app.

P.S.: Don't just do a google search for "AVCHD converter mac" and give me the results, I can do that myself. I'm looking for something that you guys have used and have tested.
