Apple Magic Mouse

My Apple Magic Mouse seems to be using a lot of battery power. for example a couple hours ago my battery percentage was at about 82% and now it is down to 67%. What could cause the decrease in power so fast? This all seemed to happen while I was using Windows on my Mac.
