Anyway, what is your Summer reading for the year? Mine happens to be "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding. I have to finish it by Wednesday because as you saw from my last question, that's the day I start school :( And I'm only 10% through but it's only 210 pages long (at least the Kindle version is)

"Lord of the Flies" by William Golding is an awesome book, had to study it for school myself and have re-read it a couple of times since, when my kids have been studying it.

Personally my reading this summer if the DC Comics "Flashpoint" story arc, in preparation for the reboot of the entire DC Comic re-boot.

I read that in 8th Grade, and saw both the classic and the 90's version of the movie, It was phenomenal!

I have to read "How the Garcia Girls lost their Accents" by Julia Alvarez, and "First Crossing: Stories About Teen Immigrants" Edited by Don R. Gallo. The first book was manditory and the second book we had to pick, and buy from Amazon. At the beginning of the Class in Sep. we have to show the teacher our reciepts. <---------------------- I'm in 10th Grade BTW.
