I'm 14 and seriously, girls aren't worth it just for a kiss. I was expecting to feel all bubbly like when she first kissed me on the cheek. But nope. First kiss was one of the most awkward things ever... But we've gone past the awkwardness ;)

I'm 30 and the only girl I ever kissed was drunk. Believe me, you're better off without them. Otherwise, say goodbye to your free time and money.

Relationships are hard, you'll find yourself being super happy, then super sad. Don't expect them all to work out and take it day by day. The hardest part of relationships is getting them started. The asking girls out, the small talk before, etc.

Here's my geekly tips: 1) Be honest: You'll be tempted to say "Man, I love showtunes, too!" but if you don't be honest. Women respect honesty in all things and the saying opposites attract is very true.

2) Psych yourself up: Remember the worst thing that can happen is she'll turn you down. That doesn't change much. I was once turned down just to be asked out by her the following day (don't expect this) and it tuned into a year+ relationship before it ended (on good terms).

3) Lastly, you can't be afriad of the "she might already have a boyfriend or something". I spent YEARs trying to ask girls out but bugging out at the last second because I was afraid she might like the previous guy she talked to or she should be taken after all she's pretty, etc. There's more singles out there then people care to mention. Just try it. This is similar to the above point but the worst thing is she'll say "Sorry, I'm taken". You dust yourself off, laugh a bit, and move on. (Or try to charm her and steal her MUAHAHAH)

Get used to being a guy because from now on almost every girl is hot and you will want them all. Muahahaha. Stfu and your teenage hormones.

Just be calm and respectful. They'll signal you when its the right time. And if you are comfortable with the girl tell her that it is your first time kissing someone so they help you a bit. Its ok to ask, we all were in that same position before.
