Internet Explorer Configuration for Wireless Users 1. Once you have configured you wireless network connection, you will need to setup Internet Explorer to automatically configure the Web Proxy settings so you can access the internet. To do this – start Internet Explorer and click on Tools -> Options.
I got that list from my school to configure the network but the techy guys are way behind and still on XP and refuse to help me set up my MacBook Air! I've tried so many different things like setting the proxy (protocol?) to auto discover, in network preferences, I've tried setting it to Automatic Proxy Configuration and entering different URLs ect. but nothing seems to do it. Any idea on what I am doing wrong? It's got WPA/WPA2 Enterprise security if that changes anything? (I have the password and username.) |
