What will happen to us when the solar flare hits us 2012

21st december 2012 the world will end. Or will it? No one knows but what we do know is that the sun is sending out a gianormous solar flare which if it hits the earth will burn just about every satellite and other stuff in orbit around earth.

What do you think would happen if all our satellites suddenly evaporated. How will we cope with the loss of connection? Will it be the final blow to our economic system before it collapses completely?

The world will not end in 2012, what the hell is wrong with you all. All the predictions from the Mayans, etc about the world ending in 2012 is based on Lunar Cicles and not counting the time restarted from 0 with the birth of Christ, even if it was predicted counting the restart from 0 it will not be the same as our 2012. The date the world was suppossed to end happened thousands of years and as you can see it didn't happened, also search the internet and you will find that in the past we have been hit by bigger solar flares. Has the media, tv and people that want attention brainwash you?

I just answered, the date the world was supposed to end happened years ago and bigger solars flares have hit the Earth too and you r still alive. The solar flares like in the past will cause some electrical malfunctions and some increase in the temperature and radiactivity can happen due to the incompetence of humans and making a hole in the ozone layer, other than that you will not die by it. If you still think you are gonna die I recommend getting psychological treatment.

oh lol you are seriously stupid -.- I know the world wont end, or I don't believe it will. That's not the question goddammit! The question is how will we survive when just about every satellite will get burned to ashes by the solar flare? (if it hits us). The current predictions (by scientists) is that it's about 10x larger than the ones we've seen before. They don't damage us on the earth because they are reflected. But they do knock out everything in orbit.
