I recently opened-up a self-hosted Wordpress blog, and I would like to have a tool where viewers can subscribe to an email feed, where every time I create a new post on the blog, an email will be sent to them with the content. They could then click a link to get to the post itself and comment on it. I would like to be able to customize the layout of the emails to match my site's layout, too. It would also be nice if they could adjust their settings, such as to get a daily or weekly digest email if they'd like.

Does anybody know of an easy-to-manage (I don't have much coding experience) email subscription plugin for Wordpress, or a third-party service that can allow email subscriptions to my blog, and also has a nice User Interface?

Thanks so much!

You can use FeedBurner for that. They can deliver the content of your site via email to subscribers.

If you want to have everything in-house though, you can use Subscribe2.

Also, email marketing service providers such as MailChimp, GetResponse, and the rest, they can take your RSS feed and broadcast it via email to a list of subscribers.

Thanks a lot! I eventually ended up using MailChimp, and it works great!

Try looking at some of these:

This one looks particularly good:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-group-email-subscription/

To use one of these plugins just download it, put it into your plugins folder, activate it, and then checkout the readme for more instructions on how to use it. The wordpress website nearly always has a plugin for the job :)

Thanks, but that's not quite what I'm looking for. I can very well do a Wordpress search on my own. I'm looking more for positive personal experience. I do thank you for your recommendation of BuddyPress, though!
