I run a tech support website for my school run through Google Sites (20MB storage, but unblocked. Can't complain), and I want to record some video tips. Unfortunately, the computers supplied by the school block all access to YouTube, even embedded videos. Vimeo, Google Videos, etc. are also blocked. Does anybody know of another video service that probably wouldn't be blocked that I can use to host the videos?
Other idea: I have an unlimited plan at HostGator. If needed, I could probably host the videos there and embed them somehow. Any ideas on how to do this? (never mind this... school blocked my site)
I recommend that you talk to your school IT administrator to unblock a good and well-known video service (i.e. YouTube), instead of switching to an unknown host service. I think that they may be able to unblock just your user channel.
