iPAD 2 DEFINITELY,

i'm answering this i've been reading a lot about both products lately.

HP's Touchpad has so much LESS apps compared to the iPAD2, which makes it LESS USEFUL. (they're selling it at a lower price so that there'd be more consumers like you who'll ask for more apps, then if developers make more apps, they can later sell more products with WebOS at higher price)

besides, I, together with some of my acquaintances REGRET using HP batteries for notebooks/laptops cause their battery life is really really short.

other than that, you may want to buy HP touchpad to try something new (but after a few weeks, you get used to it right? and a few months more, most of your friends have already praised you for having such a cool device. the excitement is gone , the pride is gathered. and now all you'll be worrying is its usability. - good luck with that.)

You cannot compare usefulness by the amount of apps. You'd have to consider how much of these apps are actually worth having, AT ALL.

Also, the "cool" factor doesn't play a part in deciding gadgets if what you want is actual usefulness. For example, you're into web design and use a lot of photoshop. You also have loads and loads of videos you need to store and watch from time to time. Don't tell me you're gonna get an iPad2 over an actual laptop that can do so much more.

Well, if the iPad 1 is slowing dows, get the iPad 2. But if it's still perfectly fine then perhaps get the HP.

Are you interested in just getting a faster and better spec product or a completely new experience? If you want better up to date specs, go with iPad 2. If you want the new experience, get the HP.
