I have set up a Hamachi network for my home and have two computer systems currently connected. How can I share folders between the two computers using the Hamachi network on Windows 7. I have a feeling it is something to do with mapping the network drive once sharing has been set but I don't know how to do this. Could someone please help me and I don't want to use Homegroup. Thanks.

When you are using Hamachi you 'trick' windows to believe you are in a LAN with those connected to Hamachi. So just share folders like you would in an ordinary LAN. Then if you want to access somebodys files, right click him and choose browse. Make sure the tunnel is allowed through your firewall and what not.

Is there any way I can do this without having to share the whole drive of the computer, for instance, a select folder or library?

yes of course. Right click on the folder and share, choose everyone.

Okay thanks, I didn't mention that I didn't have a clue about sharing on Windows, sorry, but thanks.

aha okey.. well the steps. right click folder to share, choose "share with", choose specific people, click the liddle arrow before the "add" button and select Everyone, click add. In the list you can see who you are sharing with and what permissions they have. Make sure it says Read, or else someone can copy and change files inside the folder. Then click Share.
